Face it, “landscape photography” perks up a lot when you add in human elements.

Bridge under construction. I got to hear Kalli elaborate on the statement above; very interesting indeed.

New Year’s Eve 2009, Hosjö (via Karl Gunnarsson)
This on-camera direct flash outdoors for street-like photography is something I’ve wanted to try out.

My dear brother determinedly walking towards the New Years celebrations on lake Hosjön, carrying a bottle of bubbly in each hand.

Nyårslöfte om något viktigt, viktigt at IT-mamman
This picture belongs to a blog post by it-mamman where she writes about how the older generation has to take it’s responsibility what concerns learning technology, and not just rely on the younger generations easy-going approach to it. In my work some of the parents of my students will drive me mad in the way they are not willing to try and understand technical stuff which they do not understand. They expect to get things served on a plate, and to be able to take to technical stuff immediately. If they do not understand they will immediately blame the technology and get all aggressive about it. Kids, in general, have a totally different approach, where they try and learn, try and learn and so succeed.
